Cleric seeks training for political leaders

A cleric is advocating  a forum for the training of our political leaders, saying it will equip them for quality service to the people.

“We need proactive leadership model.  Leadership is tough in the area of meeting peoples expectations and hence needs help.  There should be a forum where our political leaders among other leaders are trained to enhance service delivery.  If the leaders have enough resources in terms of knowledge and orientation, they will do well”,

Reverend Francis Olubambi, national coordinator of Vision International Christian Ministries, VICM, said.
Olubambi spoke while unveiling the Global Leadership Summit planned by VICM to hold in Lagos, Ogun and Ekiti States between October 14 and November 12.

It holds under the auspices of Willow and will feature Pastor Sam Adeyemi of Daystar Ministries, many other Christian leaders and motivational speakers across the world.

“Leaders at the various levels including the political ones need help.  Our goal is to equip them with those thingsthey require to deliver through the Global Leadership Summit”.

When the leaders get it right, the people get it, and things work. We want to explore the cutting edge leadership that works”, the VICM coordinator added.
