CCB storms Delta to verify declared assets

Asaba—A team of Code of Conduct Bureau, CCB, officials will on Sunday, commence verification of assets declared by the members of the Delta State House of Assembly and other public officers in the state.

Secretary to the State Government, Mr. Ovuozourie Macaulay, in a statement, said the exercise will take off at CCB office in Asaba.

He said members of the state House of Assembly, commissioners, Head of Civil Service, Chief of Staff and deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor, and Deputy Governor were to appear for the exercise.

Others are aides to the governor, chairmen and members of commissions and boards, including immediate past members of commissions and boards.

He added that assets of vice-chancellors, provosts and rectors of state tertiary institutions, accountant-general and permanent secretaries, immediate past local government chairmen in the state will also be affected.

The statement advised public officers to come with originals and photocopies of all documents associated with their respective declared assets.
