The Barea of Madagascar have promised their disappointed fans a win against the Super Eagles in Antananarivo to compensate for their woeful outing at the just concluded Indian Ocean Games where they failed to qualify from their group.
According to Sports Vanguard’s link in Antananarivo, to achieve this aim, the Barea now train twice a day with the introduction of new players to fortify the team for which 23 players have been listed.
In Madagascar right now, according to our souce, the song on the lips of every fan of the Barea is Nigeria Resy, meaning Nigeria will lose, a situation they hope will win back support for the team.
“The Barea have been training since the past three weeks, they are really preparing for this match.They train twice a day. Since their bad outing in Seychellles (at the Indian Ocean Games), they have brought in some new players to fortify the team,” he said.
He disclosed that a misfortune has however hit the team as their captain and most experienced defender has been ruled out of the match folowing an injury during training last Friday.
Our source disclosed that the Barea coach is building his strategy on Yvan Rajoarimanana, an attacker our link said must not be given any chance by the Eagles defence if they hope to leave the stadium undefeated.
“I have been watching their training constantly and one of the weak points in their defence is the right full back. However, there is a guy called Yvan, they are building their team on this guy, he wears jersey number 12 and plays on both the left and right sides of their attack,” he said
