CISCO predicts quadrupled global internet traffic in 2015
Global networking giant, CISCO network, has predicted that the number of network-connected devices in the world will be more than 15 billion, twice the world’s population, by 2015. In its fifth annual Visual Networking Index, VNI Forecast for 2010-2015 , released recently, the company also said that the total amount of global internet traffic will quadruple by 2015 and reach 966 exabytes per year.
