US endocrinologists body inducts Nigerian

Nigerian Physician, Afoke Isiavwe, has been inducted as a fellow of the American College of Endocrinology, ACE, the educational and scientific arm of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, AACE.

Isiavwe, the Medical Director of Rainbow Specialist Medical Centre, was inducted at the 19th Annual Convocation at the 2011 AACE Annual Meeting and Clinical Congress in San Diego, California,USA, where over 94 endocrinologists across the globe were inducted during the ceremony.

AACE is a national professional medical association with 6,500 members throughout the United State and 91 foreign countries. Endocrinologists have specialized training and expertise in the treatment of endocrine diseases,including diabetes, thyroid, pituitary and calcium disorders, including osteoporosis, as well as cholesterol, nutritional, reproductive medicine andweight disorders.
