UGHELLI-ASSISTANT Secretary of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Ughelli North Local Government Area, Delta State, Mr Joseph Onoakpoma and seven others have been suspended from the party for alleged misconduct and levelling false accusation against Chief Shedrach Imonieroh, a prominent member of the party.

The suspension, which was contained in a statement by the executive of the party in their home ward, Orogun Ward II, listed other suspended members of the party to include; Chief Emmanuel Ogobene, Mr. Gabriel Akpude, Chief Samson Akporugo, Mr. Goddey Ojumah, Beauty Ugbogun, Mr.Joseph Ebor and Emuobosa Johnson.

The suspended persons had in recent media report under the aegis of the Orogun Political Elites accused Chief Imonieroh of anti- party activities, not being transparent during the just concluded elections and misappropriating funds of the party.
