Jonathan, aides leave for Obudu on retreat

….As he settles for fresh mandate

Away from his landslide victory at the presidential election, President Goodluck Jonathan and his key aides will Friday arrive the globally acclaimed tourism destination, Obudu Resort, Cross River state on a one-week retreat.

A two-paragraph statement by Mr Ima Niboro, Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity read:

“President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan will tomorrow, Friday, April 29, 2011 embark on a seven-day working retreat to the Obudu Mountain Resort in Cross River State.

The President will be accompanied by some senior government officials and his aides”.
