ONITSHA – Anambra State government is  to spend about N500million on capital projects and development of Anambra State University, the Acting Vice Chancellor, Prof Fidelis Okafor, has said

Prof. Okafor dropped the hint while addressing fresh and old students of the institution.

He advised them to avail themselves of the unlimited opportunities their admission into the university had offered them to become outstanding in their career discipline and character.

To  create conducive learning environment for the students,  he said Governor Peter Obi had flagged off the construction of the main road to the university and rehabilitation of some internal roads within Uli campus of the university.

He reminded the students that their academic status had changed from ordinary students to undergraduates and should, therefore, put away all juvenile characteristics.

He said: “You must change positively in all direction, from immaturity to maturity, from irrationality to rationality, naivety to indomitability, the change must reflect in the totality of your conduct and comportment becoming of youths who have entered the lvory tower.”
