Fattening tradition in South Eastern Nigeria
IN old South-Eastern Nigeria, comprising the present Imo, Abia, Ebonyi, Anambra, Enugu, Akwa-Ibom, Cross River, Bayelsa and Rivers States of Nigeria, there are some ceremonies connected with traditional marriage, which must be performed before the bride and bridegroom eventually come to live together as wife and husband.
