The Primate of the Anglican Church of Nigeria, The Most Rev. Nicholas Okoh, will on Wednesday, begin a three-day pastoral visit to the United Kingdom.
Rev. Cannon Ben Enwuchola, Chaplain in charge of the Nigerian Chaplaincy in London disclosed in an interview with the Europe correspondents.
He said that during the visit, Okoh would meet with the Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams.
Enwuchola explained that Okoh would also meet with the Nigerian Anglicans resident in the UK and officials of the Nigerian High Commission in London.
He explained that the visit which was Okoh’s first since elected Primate, was earlier scheduled for December 2010, but was postponed due to the bad weather across Europe.
