Dolphin of Port Harcourt coach Stanley Eguma has described is fellow competitor at Bukola Babes , Festus Allen as the revelation of the Nigeria Premier League this season.

Dolphin at the weekend ended Bukola Babes eight games unbeaten run, but Eguma held his opposite number in high esteem.

“Allen deserves our respect. He has been one of the revelations of the season.
“His good work is clear for all to see as Bukola Babes recently went eight matches unbeaten,’ Eguma said.

Eguma said that Babes were not an easy conquest at the Port Harcourt Liberation.
“We may have won that match but it was not an easy game. Bukola made things very difficult for us and if we had not gotten an early goal, things would have been very complicated,” he said.
Allen was also complimentary of his rival describing him as an excellent Coach.
“We lost on Saturday and there was no help from the referee (for the home team) and that is a pointer that the team that defeated us is an excellent team coached by an excellent coach,” he said.
The Bakana-born coach is however certain that his wards will bounce back from the defeat and return back to winning ways.

“We have to come back from this and start winning again. In a way, the defeat to Dolphin is not such a bad thing because apart from the fact that they are the leaders, this will now take a lot of pressure away from the boys who have been battling to preserve the record,” he revealed.

Adegoke back in Dolphin’s fold

Dolphins left full back, Mutui Adegoke is happy to be back to the team after his injury lay-off at the start of the season.

Adegoke was not registered when the League started because he had not totally recovered from an arm injury but just got his licence during the week nine registration window.

“I was a part of the team to Kano to play against Zamfara United even though I did not get to play the game,” Adegoke said.

“It is good to be back. As a footballer you always want to play and it can get a bit frustrating when you are in a team but is not playing and that is why I was not too happy about it at the time,” he said.

Mutui Adegoke joined Dolphins from Lobi Stars at the start of the 2009/10 football season and was part of the Super Eagles team that played in the ECOWAS Cup last year before he copped and arm injury that required surgery for him to get back to playing.
