Coach Samson Siasia on Sunday called up renowned domestic game forward Victor Ezeji to his residential training camp in Abuja ahead of the Green Bowl Soccer tournament happening in the United States of America next month.

The gifted Sharks FC of Port Harcourt, who was one of the Garden City team’s players involved in an auto mishap on their way to Abuja from Jos the previous week, will replace the earlier invited Eugene Salami, who has gone abroad for trials.

Salami, of Niger Tornadoes FC of Minna, was a key member of the Super Eagles team that won the West African Football Union (WAFU) Cup tournament in Abeokuta in April last year.

Ezeji has made name as one of the best forwards in the domestic league, having played for another Port Harcourt side Dolphin FC before teaming up with Sharks FC at the beginning of last season.

He will join 11 other newcomers to the residential camping that started last week and which has already seen 15 players axed from the original set-up by Coach Samson Siasia.

All the newly –invited players and the 15 that have survived from the original squad are expected to turn up at the Bolton White Apartments hotel of the team on Monday.
