Nigeria, Benin Customs agreement, reduces smuggling
Following the agreement between the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) and its Benin Republic counterpart in October last year, the level of smuggling through the borders into the country has greatly reduced, shooting up revenue collectable from such goods, Customs Area Controller (CAC) of Seme Area Command, .Toba G Aliu, has said.

ECCIMA proposes runway 2 for Akanu Ibiam Int’l Airport
The Enugu Chamber of Commerce,Industry, Mines and Agriculture(ECCIMA) asked the federal authority to construct a second runway at the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu State while allowing the existing runway to continue to provide air services to the teeming air travellers from the zone instead of the planned shut down of the airport for twelve months.
