AS Nigerians continue to lament the dwindling fortunes of football in the country that has seen Niger lately stopping the country from qualifying for the African Nations Championship for home-based, NFA President, Sani Lulu, has exonerated Kano for the misfortune of the Eagles.
We won’t sack Amokachi , Lulu
THE Nigeria Football Association, NFA, said yesterday that Daniel Amokachi would not face the guillotine following the ouster of the home-based Eagles by the Menas of Niger at the weekend. Niger held Nigeria to a barren draw after a 2-0 victory in the first leg in Niamey. Nigeria did not qualify in the inaugural edition hosted by Sudan and would be conspicuously missing when Cote dÃvoire host the 2nd edition.
