Chief Marketing Officer of Cyberspace Network Limited, Mr Anant Sabat has added his voice to the calls by the Information Technology, IT stakeholders, on the government of Nigeria to make IT market attractive through provision of incentives.
He said though, the government has made tremendous and appreciable efforts in recent times to improve ICT sector, there was an urgent need for government incentives in areas like tax rebate, subsidy on roll out cost to rural areas, among other areas that make the sector attractive enough to both foreign and local investors.
Mr Anant, who spoke to Vanguard CybeLife recently at the company’s head office, Lagos, stated that there was equally need for government to come up with a policy that would ensure that every Nigerian student, from the primary school to the university level, have access to the use of computer, Internet and other ICT resources by building high level ICT infrastructure within the campuses.
He explained that Cyberspace, in order to cover the entire country and provide high reliable network , has deployed WIMAX 4G network in Nigeria to give the best connectivity technology experience to its clients.
“We are putting more 70 base stations in Lagos with major plans to extend our fibre network in the country to provide quality services to our customers. We have recently launched Unified Threat Management solutions (Cyberoam), which helps the customers to take care of multiple needs including Anti Virus, Anti SPAM, Content filtering, Bandwidth management, Firewall among others”, he disclosed.
According to him, Cyberspace offered variety of ICT solutions that support clients need as per their business requirements, such as CYBERMAX, CYBERSAT, NETSECURE, School Suite Solutions, Enterprise Resource Planning, ERP, Portals development, Customer Relationship Management, Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence Systems, VAS (Value Added Services), e-Payment Solutions, System integration, Consultancy and Training, among other quality products and services.
