A Filipino woman, Grace Galindez-Gupana who holds nine Guinness records yesterday narrated how she was mobbed by some people suspected to be area boys in Lagos on her way to Ibadan to unfold the world’s largest Jerusalem banner.

According to the woman who said she experienced so much difficulty before the flag was cleared from Tin can Island by the express order of President Goodluck Jonathan, the attackers demanded N10,000 before she could be allowed to go adding that she was hit by objects in order to force her part with the money demanded.

Not bothered by the inherent impediment, she still forged ahead to execute the order by God to unfold the Lion of Judah banner measuring 4.5hectares and weighing 9.8 tons in Ibadan which she said God described as her chosen city.

Galindez-Gupana who had earlier performed such great feats said the banner cost her 1.2m US dollars adding that besides the security bottlenecks she encountered from clearing the banner at the port, the initial venues-Recreation Club, Liberty and Adamasingba Stadia chosen for the unfolding of the banner were denied her but later had breakthrough of carrying out her mission at the Olubadan Stadium on Saturday.

She enumerated many spiritual benefits and economic prosperity the unfolding of the banner would bring to Nigeria.

She explained that though corruption was on the increase in the country, it still occupies the heart of God because there are many strong men of God in the country dishing out the undiluted word of God.

She listed other Guinness records she is holding. They include Isreal Flag, 777 Yahweh’s banner, largest flag of Jerusalem, largest drawing of idols burnt to ashes, largest diabetes screening, largest blood identification and largest cholesterol check among others.
Gupana had once worked as a food vendor at the Quezon City Hall grounds before she got to the limelight.
