DEMOCRATIC People’s Party, DPP, gubernatorial candidate in Delta State, Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru has held a top secret meeting with President Goodluck Jonathan in Aso Villa, Abuja, apparently in connection with the forthcoming re-run election in the state, in which he and former governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, are the major contenders.

AGGRIEVED ex-militants under the aegis of the Niger-Delta Liberation Force, NDLF, led by “General” John Togo in Delta State remained recalcitrant, yesterday, even in the face of the superior firepower of the Joint Task Force, JTF, on the Niger-Delta, saying they would not surrender.
