The Nigeria Football Association, NFA, have concluded moves to re-unite National Association of Nigerian Footballers, NANF, and Association of Professional Footballers of Nigeria, APFON
NANF is headed by Harrison Jalla, the man whose court case against NFA made FIFA to suspend Nigeria while APFON is headed by Austine Popo, the former scribe of NANF.
President of NFA, Aminu Maigari said at the weekend bringing the two bodies under one canopy would help Nigerian football.
We truly want to bring them together for the good of the game in Nigeria”. And reacting, Jalla said that he welcomes the move by the football house but blamed former President, Sani Lulu for sowing the apple seed of discord between the two bodies.
