Ag Gov, Arewa community back Uduaghan

ASABA—THE Arewa community in Delta State has vowed to stand  solidly by the former Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, in the coming rerun election, describing the administration of the former Governor as “people-oriented.”

Spokesman of the community, Alhaji Auwalu Turku, told newsmen in Asaba, Delta State, yesterday, that “the Arewa people will make sure that everybody in the community vote for  Uduaghan and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, again.”

On his part, while addressing a rally held at Ogwashi-Uku, the Acting Governor, Prince Sam Obi called for a collective effort to ensure victory for the former Governor in the re-run election, saying that “Uduaghan has done well and deserves our votes again and there is no doubt that he will win again.”

He maintained that the former Governor was only on vacation for three months, pointing out that the only sure way for Anioma area of the state to produce the next Governor in 2015 was to work for Uduaghan to complete his eight year tenure.
