Samson Siasia will have enough players to screen in the exercise of building a new national team.Chairman of Nigeria Football Federation Technical Committee Chris Green said yesterday that he alone had a list of up to 200 players playing football outside Nigeria.

“The work at hand is enormous. Building a team is no piece of cake but I think that the pool of players to select from is large,” Green said, adding “right now I have a list that contains up to 200 Nigerian players outside our country. There’s also the Nigerian Leagues. Siasia must not concentrate on players based abroad.

Aside our Premier League, there are also other leagues. There could be good potentials in the lesser leagues. The coach has to move around and know how to go about the serious business of developing and building a national team Nigerians can be proud of.”
