IJAW legislators have been urged to emulate the representative of Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Mr. Nicholas Mutu, who recently awarded scholarship to science students in  secondary schools in the constituency.

The recipients of the award, who emerged from a  quiz competition  include Onyo Vincent, Abi John, Akpophre Raphael, Wessey Joshua, Ologie Pere-Owei, Onakpojeruo Precious, Asigo Ekankumor and Egolukumor Barnabas from Patani Local Government Area of Delta State.

In Bomadi Local Government Area, the recipients are Ogori Ebednego, Pigha Kelvin Ebi, Tuodonye Alphonsus, Brisibe Sunday, Apama Everest, Bunu Rajander and Peter Eyerinmene.

Coordinator of Nicholas Mutu Scholarship Foundation, Mr. Timilaemi Barbar, said the commendable gesture would address the dire medical, engineering and other professional manpower needs of the area and the nation at large.
