Communities back Mukoro as Delta gov

INDIGENES of Otokutu, Orogun and Isoko communities of Delta State ,recently pledged their support for Delta State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial aspirant, Prof. (Major) Saliba Mukoro. Mukoro promised his teeming followers that he would change Delta State within six months if he becomes the governor of the state.

Addressing a massive crowd of supporters in Otokutu, leader of Otokutu Community and owner of Barumton Hotels, Otokutu, Chief Urieferunrume Emevor, said the people of Otokutu community are solidly behind Mukoro.

Hear him: “I enjoined all Otokutu indigenes to rally round Mukoro in his bid to become Delta State governor next year. We need change in this state. You are the one who will lead us to the land of milk and honey.

I assure you that you have not only won Otokutu, but all the communities in Ughelli South Local Government Area.”

Emevor, who described Mukoro as a son of the community, who would lead them to the promised land, further said that, “the Bible said when a good leader rules, the people will rejoice, but when a bad leader rules the people cry because of hardship and that is what we have in Delta State today.

“I have said before now that I do not want to be part of politics because of the attitude of bad leaders, but with the entry of Mukoro, I have changed mind because he is not a greedy leader,” he added.

Welcoming Saliba Mukoro to his country home in Udu LGA, Delta State, president_general of Orogun Kingdom, Chief Emmanuel Eghobeme, said Orogun people have been searching for a credible leader that would alleviate their problem and have found that in him.
