THE Ondo state government and the opposition party Peoples Democratic Party PDP in the state yesterday disagreed on the insecurity in the state within the last one month.

While the PDP described the situation as “parlors state of insecurity in Ondo State in recent times, the ruling government said the allegation was spurious but that it was incapable of tackling armed robberies in the State.

The state government said that the genesis of the current upsurge in crime in the State was traceable to the PDP during their rule in the State.

According to the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Ondo State, Mr. Kolawole Olabisi such allegation was unfortunate, uncharitable and reeks of double speak.

“It is quite unfortunate that the Ondo State Chapter of the PDP has continued to behave as the shameless people they are given their kindergarten antics in trying to rake up mucks where there are none. But the PDP through its Director of Publicity Ayo Fadaka said that“We think it worthwhile to voice out the frustrations of the citizenry that something urgent must be done to ensure the security of life and property.
