Adamu leads CAF delegation to Sudan

FIFA and CAF executive member, Dr Amos Adamu arrives Sudan today  as leader of CAF delegation to inspect facilities in that country ahead of the 2011 African Nations Championship holding in that country.

Adamu who has been in Germany as deputy co-ordinator of  the FIFA U-20 Women World Cup left for the African country yesterday for the assignment.

Adamu who is also President of the West African Football Union told Sports Vanguard that the continental football ruling body was hopeful that Sudan would meet all necessary parameters required of the host country.

He said he was glad to be appointed head of delegation by the continental football governing body, adding that he would not disappoint.

On his alleged appointment as adviser on sports to President Goodluck Jonathan, Adamu said “the people announcing that have been misinformed as no such a thing has happened.
