A former Nigerian international, Francis Moniedafe has also been denied nomination for the forthcoming NFA election by Adamawa state FA.
The Bendel Insurance central defender lost his chance against Stephen Gyegbon who is a member of the current NFA board.
Moniefade was a celebrated central defender in Bendel Insurance and went on to play for the national team, the Green Eagles.
He is one of the ex-internationals with a grasp of the administrative demands of modern day football. He lamented his inability to get endorsement from the Adamawa state FA but said he would not give up hope on trying in future.
