Starcomms brings more fun into mobile system

By Emmanuel Elebeke
STARCOMMS Plc has launched a two in one service of Music-on- demand and music dedication for the enjoyment of its customers.

The product tagged “Say-it-with-a-song” allows subscribers to link Starcomms through a short code  and demand to listen to their  preferred music for 10 minutes non stop on their Starcomms phone.

The package is designed in a way that, the subscriber after enjoying the music can also request that the music be dedicated to a loved one, who must also be a user of Starcomms phone.

The sender as the same time can accompany the dedicated music with a voice message which he would have pre-recorded.

The mechanics of the music dedication service allows the subscriber of music-on-demand to draw from the diverse collections of music in the Starcomms system and send to others they love on the same  network.

Unveiling the service in Lagos, the Chief Commercial Officer of Starcomms, Mr. Tushar Maheshari described the new product as part of efforts of Starcomms at taking away tension and stress from its customers.

“this service is one of the efforts of Starcomms at bridging the gap between work and play. We want our customers to have access to their favourite music without the need of car radio or MP3 or their sets at home.
“Music-on-demand can be a motivating device at work or during physical exercise while the music dedication can lift the spirit of a loved one wherever they may be,” said Maheshari.
According to him, Starcomms efforts at bringing innovative products and services to its customers, are usually tailored towards making their lives easier and better, a commitment he said Starcomms cannot undermine.

“the services that we make available to our subscribers are tailored towards making their lives easier and better in general. It is a commitment that we hold very dear in our relationship with them and it for this reason that Starcomms will continue to maintain its leadership by speaking the language of its subscribers,” he added.

However, for Starcomms subscribers who have the taste for good music and find it uncomfortable to move around with large music collections, the Starcomms music on demand is ideal as it enables the subscriber to create his juke box within the Starcomms system.

The recipient of the services however, receives the dedicated music as a phone call and listens while the music lasts, without paying.
