Destination South Africa (DSA) promotion organised by DHL Nigeria has came to a conclusion where 30 winners emerged from which number one star winner along with his spouse will travel to South Africa to watch Nigeria play in the world cup come June 2010.
Mr. Tarkumbur Philip, a 35 years old civil servant from Markurdi, Benue State emerged winner of an all expense paid trip to the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
The draw that produced the winner was picked by Prince Ademola Adeniji Adele, Lagos State Commissioner forYouths, Sports and Social Development, represented by Hon. Agboola Dabiri, Chairman, Lagos Sports Council and assisted by other dignitaries at the event in Lagos.
The winner, Mr. Tarkumbur Philip, emerged after being drawn within the rules of the promotion. Philip who spoke through a telephone was excitedÂ being the mega prize winner of the promotion.
â€œI feel so happy about this. I do not believe normally in promotions, and have never participated nor won in any promotion in the past. However, I decided to try in the DHL Destination South Africa Promo and entered, said an elated Philip.
He however commended DHL for being transparent in fulfilling its promise, stressing that their commitment to rewarding loyal customers will further convince more Nigerians to participate in promotions and patronize their services even more in the future.
