Community to honour Uduaghan

THE traditional ruler of Onicha-Ugbo in Aniocha North LGA of Delta state, HRM Obi Victor Chukwumalieze I (JP), his Council of Chiefs and the entire community have concluded arrangements to honour the Delta state governor, Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan, in appreciation of the numerous infrastructural and human capital development of the state by the governor.

Speaking at the inaugural meeting of the sixteen-member reception organising committee held at the Ogwa palace of the Obi, the chairman of the committee,the Uwolor of the town, Chief Matthias Asielue said the reception for the governor was a well-deserved one ,adding that it is the only way to say thank you for all that he has done and hope to benefit more from his administration’s dividends of democracy.

Chief Asielue urged the committee members to take their appoitments in the committee as service to their fatherland.

Uduaghan wins award on Micro credit administration

Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan of Delta State has won an International Award of Excellence in recognition of his contribution to the development of women and youths through the establishment of micro credit programme.
This was contained in a statement by the Africa Sister Cities Global Foundation (ASCGF).Sister Cities International was founded by former President of United States of America, Dwight  D. Eisenhover in 1956.

The award will be presented to Governor Emmanuel Uduaghan by Ghana President, Prof. John Atta Mills, at the Ghanaian Government Banquet Hall Accra today.
