ASABAâ€”DELTA State governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, weekend in Asaba reiterated the intention of his administration to bring development to all the three senatorial districts in the state, but warned that any community or ethnic group that could not foster peace might run the risk of be being deprived of such development.
He gave the warning while speaking at a reception organized by Izu Anioma, the apex organization forÂ Anioma people of Delta North senatorial district, which was held amidst tight security.
Thanking the people of Anioma for remaining peaceful, the governor said: â€œI must do what is due to each senatorial district. I must develop Asaba for remaining peaceful because once there is peace, there is development.
â€œBut if you continue to give me trouble, it will be difficult for me to develop your area. Na message I send o o!â€
