Heartland, Enyimba, Warri Wolves get referees

Nigerian clubs still making waves in CAF competitions have been allocated referees for their next round of matches, being the 1/8th finals in both the Champions league and the Confederation Cup.

Heartland, flying Nigeria’s flag in the14th Orange CAF Champions league will play their first leg match at away in South Africa against Supersports United with Ghanaian referees in control.

In the centre will be Lamptey Joseph to be assisted by Haruna Ayuba, Salifu Malik and Cecil Amatey. In the return leg to be hosted in Owerri, Algerian Referee Hamoudi Djamel will be in control together with compatriots Benarous Mohammed,  Meknous Mohammed and Bichari Mohammed.

In the 7th Orange CAF Confederation Cup, Wolves of Warri will host Caps of Zimbabwe with officials from Guinea while the match commissioner will be the Ghanaian Jawula Nuhu.

In the return leg in Zimbabwe, the Nigerians will come against North African referees from Egypt led by Samir Osman with Chairman of Zambian FA, Kalusha Bwalya as match Commissioner.

Enyimba of Aba, the second Nigerian entrant in the Confederation Cup will be away first to ASV of Congo under the direction of Rwandan referees, with Camerounian Ndjipendi Marcel as match commissioner. When they come back home in a fort night, they will have Kenyan referees to run their affairs under the direction of Niger’s Boube Abdul Kadiri as match commissioner.
