Senate renames Women Centre after Maryam Babangida
The Senate, yesterday, resolved that the National Centre for Women Development, NCWD, Abuja, be named after the late former First Lady, Mrs. Maryam Babangida, in memory of her contributions to womanhood.
The resolution was sequel to the consideration of a motion on her death, moved by Senator Zaynab Kure (PDP, Niger South) and 29 others.
