The African Institute for Applied Economics, Enugu , (AIAE) has appointed Mr. Sola Oluwadare, (formerly Fadare) as its Communication Manager.
Until his appointment, Oluwadare was the Head of Energy desk of the Nigerian Tribune, and was also supervising Commerce and Industry desk.
A member of the Nigerian Economic Society (NES), Oluwadare was also the Assistant Secretary of the Commerce and Industry Correspondents Association of Nigeria (CICAN).
Born in Imesi Ile, Obokun Local Government of Osun State, Oluwadare holds Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) and Master of Science (M.Sc.) degrees of Univer-sity of Ado Ekiti and University of Ibadan respec-tively, specializing in public sector economics.
He’s also a co-winner of maiden edition of the Nigerian Breweries PLC’s Golden Pen Award and has special interest in human, public management and public policy advocacy.
The appointment letter of Oluwadare, signed by the Executive Director of the Institute, Professor Eric Eboh, said that as AIAE’s image-maker, he is responsible for coordinating and organizing the dissemination of the Institute’s research to government, private sector, civil society and international development agencies.
He is also to explore and develop collaboration, partnership and relationship with AIAE’s stakeholders which include the media, the Organised Private Sector (OPS), the academics and the international development agencies.
