Mamamu charges N/Delta students on credible election

By Emma Arubi

WARRI — CHAIRMAN of Ijaw National Congress (INC) Western Zone, Chief Samson Y. Mamamu, has charged students of tertiary institutions in the Niger Delta to ensure that only credible leaders were elected to political offices in the country.

He also said stated that disunity, greed and lack of social awareness remained the bane plaguing the people of the region, maintaining that the Federal Government’s amnesty and post-amnesty programme were pregnant, as no one was sure of what it would deliver at the end of the day.

Chief Mamamu made these remarks at his residence in Warri when members of the National Association of Niger Delta Students (NANDS) decorated him with Niger Delta Icon of Peace and Intellectual struggle award.
