UGHELLI — THE member representing Sapele Local Government Area in Delta State House of Assembly, Chief Monday Ovbigho Igbuya, has appea-led to Chief E. K. Clark to leave the former governor of the state, Chief James Ibori, alone.
Igbuya made the call in Sapele while reacting to recent media reports credited to Clark wherein he petitio-ned the Chief Judge of the Federation on Ibori’s case.

According to him, “the attack on Ibori over the emergence of Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan as governor Delta State has been too much on the part of our leader in the person of Clark.

“Almost three years after leaving office, the political bitterness being exhibited by our leader, Chief E.K Clark has been too much and too distracting.

“One would have thought that since the matter is before the judiciary and Clark himself, being a respectable lawyer, should not at this time be writing petitions over an administrative job, knowing that assignment of cases are not the prerogative of the Attorney-General and also not the responsibility of the Presidency, but a prerogative of the Chief Judge of the Federation.

“I believe that the only way Clark will see justice to have been done in the case of Ibori, is only when he appoints a judge that will eventually jail Ibori. I plead that our respected father and leader, Chief E.K Clark, should teach us good leadership and allow us to emulate him.
