Customs Training College graduates 400 cadets

KANO—The Nigeria Customs Training College, Kano has graduated over 400 cadet officers and redeployed them for two months compulsory internship after the completion of 6 months training exercise.

Briefing journalists in Kano, the Commandant of the training school, Alhaji Ali Wakili, said that the cadet officers during the internship will perform escort duties, patrol and anti-smuggling activities  before returning to the college for the passing out parade.

Alhaji Ali Wakili explained that the cadet officers while at the college acquired basic skills, drills and sat for  examinations, pointing out that the college did not record any untoward  incident during the training exercise.

“We have successfully completed our training of 400 officers and we have  deployed them for two months internship across custom formations through out the country. “On completion of the compulsory exercise, they will return to the college for  the passing out process,” Wakili stated.
