Baribote vies for NPL board

Chairman of Bayelsa United FC Yenagoa , Chief Rumson Victor Baribote have formally  indicated his interest to come on the board of the Nigeria Premier League in the forthcoming election slated for early next year.

Speaking at the Samson Siasia Sports complex last week in Yenagoa, the former Delta Stars FC of Ughelli play maker said “ I am the best man for the NPL job amongst my pearls for now. My achievements in the past and present speak volume for me. I am not the kind of person that blows his trumpet but my works speak for me.  “As a player I have payed my dues having played for numerous clubs in Nigeria before jetting out to play in three in three continents. I have won the league, Charity Cup and also played in the continent, which suggest that I am probably the best manager in the league currently. I want to take my experience and quality to the board to serve my country.

“Off course I have ambition like every other person so when we get to the board I will know the capacity I will vie for but for now let us get to the bridge before crossing. I believe so much in God and my leadership quality to turn football around.
