Rhema Productions return with Naija Got Talent

After it has successfully asserted its footprint in the sand of time, as one of the wave-making entertainment outfits in the city of Lagos, Rhema Productions, organizers of “Fight for Fame” and the soap, “Shock of His Life” is at it again.

The company, which has been in the forefront of discovering talents in Nigeria, since 2005, when it hosted the first ever Talent hunt show in the areas of acting, modelling, and singing in Nigeria is returning  to the scene with a new talent hunt show tagged, “Naija Got Talent.”

Najia Got Talent, according to Reverend Innocent Peace, president of Rhema Productions, is a reality show, which promises not only to be exciting and entertaining but equally, serves as a veritable tool to boosting the re-branding project of the federal government. The show, designed as a means of discovering  young talents in Nigeria, will also be used as a platform to showcase the rich cultural heritage of the country.

Introducing the show to journalists last week in Lagos, Peace disclosed that N5m coupled with an SUV Jeep will be won by the last man,  woman or any group standing at the show.

He noted that over one million young Nigerians are expected to participate in the show, which finalists will be drawn from the five zones of Abuja, Kaduna, Enugu, Port-Harcourt and Lagos.

According to the Rhema president, age and talent would never stand as a barrier during the show, adding that “the zonal selections will be done by judges while the finalists will face the voting public via text messages.”

“‘Naija Got Talent’ has no age and talent restrictions, especially in the area of indoor entertainment, such as singing, dancing, comedy, playing and mastering of any musical instrument both local and international amongst other activities that are capable of educating, and holding onlookers in awe at any point in time,” her continued.

“We intend to select our finalists from the various zones, we have Abuja, Kaduna, Enugu, Port-Harcourt and Lagos zones.

While Lagos will serve as venue for the grand finale, we will use other zones for the prelim. The zonal selections will be done by judges while the finalists will face the voting public via text messages.

Intending participants will register online by purchasing a gistme universal scratch cards from Bank PHB, Skye Bank and supermarkets across the country.

We also intend to reward the last man, woman or group standing with a N5. million and an SUV Jeep. I want to encourage raw talents. All the big names started off like this. Rome was not built in a day so we have to encourage them,” Peace asserted.
