Second National Operator, Globacom has commenced a new promotion for its teeming subscribers across the country.

The Federal High Court Abuja Friday ordered the immediate release of Mr. Johnson Salako, Mobitel’s Chief Executive Officer by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). The court order came following the arrest and detention of Salako Thursday last week, which his company described as unlawful.

Citing the judgment of a Bayelsa State High Court, which conferred ownership of Gborou land situated near Aghoro town on Gborou people and the company’s previous agreements and Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Gborou community, he said the presence of a dredger at the site without any discussion with the community showed the company had mobilized to site.
