Flood victims: NEMA visits Delta

The National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA has visited Asaba,  Delta State state capital and its environs for an on-the-spot assessment of the devastating effect of flood in the state with a view to collaborating with the state government on how to assist victims.

Speaking shortly after they were conducted round the affected areas by the Commissioner in charge of the Bureau for Special Duties, Mr. Ernest Ogwezzy, NEMA,  Head of operations in charge of Edo, Delta and Bayelsa States, Mr. Walson I. Brandon said they had collated the number of victims affected by the flood.

He said  they would send their report to the national headquarters of NEMA in Abuja for necessary action.
