Top Confederation of African Football (CAF) and FIFA Official Paul Bassey, will lead some Nigeria ex-football greats like Victor Agali, Austin J.J Okocha, Kanu Nwankwo, Tajudeen Disu, Etim Esin and Henry Nwosu to the legacy pitch of the National Stadium Surulere, Lagos on Saturday Nov 7, 2015 for the grand finale of the second edition of the VCN Sports Limited U-15 soccer challenge involving Fortune Football Academy and TAO Football Academy.
Other special guests expected at the occasion include the immediate past chairman of the Surulere local government council, Hon Tajudeen Ajide, Chief Martin Muoghara, Chief Casmir Emenim, Chief Idowu Egboje and former Super Eagles goal keeper trainer, Joe Erico popularly referred to as “Jogobonito.”
Event sponsor, chief Victor Nwaribeaku (AKWA-UGO) hinted that the sum of N200, 000 has been set aside as prize money for the winner, in addition to the giant trophy while the first and second runners-up will receive N100,000 and N50,000 respectively.
To get the final TAO FA trashed Smart Strikers to in the first semi-finals while fortune Football Academy outclassed Bora team 5-4 on penalties in the second semi-finals. A total of twenty-four teams started the race.
