It is no longer news that Sir Michael Otedola, former governor of Lagos state and father of oil magnate, Femi Otedola was laid to rest at the weekend in his home town, Odoragunshin, Epe Local Government Area of the state with political and social heavyweights in attendance, including the President Goodluck Jonathan and his wife, Patience; former president Olusegun Obasanjo; Governor Babatunde Fashola, his wife Dame Abimbola Fashola, Governor Ibikunle Amosun, Hon Abike Dabiri, Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) boss Aruma Oteh, Minister for Agriculture Adeshina Akinwumi, former Zenith Bank boss Jim Ovia, business mogul Aliko Dangote, among others.

But what many might not know is that Femi Otedola’s daughter, 21-year old Ife Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, was the face behind the turntable and she mesmerised guests with her dexterity on the wheels of steel.

Not even the ‘aso-ebi’ could stop the ambassador for tourism doing her things and Femi Otedola was also in the groove, ‘bending down low’ at intervals.
