Governor Gabriel Suswam in an interaction with newsmen in Makurdi spoke on several issues pertaining to the governance of the state and on national issues including the proposal for a single term for the President and Governors. Excerpts:

It was another day of terror in Misau Local Government Area of Bauchi State, when gunmen attacked a first generation bank and a police station, in what was described as a double operational invasion. The attack which was not the first of its kind in the area, left six police men and one civilian dead, while several others sustained injuries. And while it lasted, it created pandemonium in the entire area.

Not every woman was born with the dream of one day holding her own kind in her arms in the form of a baby, but surely, that instinct catches up with nearly every woman at one point or the other. Beyond the biological, there is the social expectation that every female, whether or not she is married, should give birth to a child.

The National Pension Commission, PenCom, said that it will adopt a flexible investment regulation for Pension Funds Administrators in the country, allowing them to invest in a wide range of investment outlets in the years ahead.
