The opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has gained two additional seats in the just concluded House of Assembly election in Kaduna State.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) on Thursday, announced that All Progressives Congress and Peoples Democratic Party won 11 seats each in the Adamawa House of Assembly election held on Saturday.

Sokoto – With ten days to the repeat of the governorship election in the state, the Peoples Democratic Party has accused the Federal Government and the All Progressives Congress of plotting to use the military and other security agents to win the state by force.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Bayelsa State, has appealed to the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai, to investigate the alleged role of the military in the violence that occurred in the state during the last general elections.

THE National Independent Electoral Commission, INEC, has declared the final result of Bayelsa State House of Assembly, with Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, retaining 17 seats.

Uyo—Akwa Ibom State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP,  has faulted the All Progressives Congress, APC, over its allegation that the Resident Electoral Commissioner, Mr. Mike Igini assisted it (PDP) to rig the just concluded general election held in the state.

The Rivers state All Progressives Congress, APC, has urged the public to disregard what it described as lies told by the Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike against the Nigerian army. The APC in the state said Wike told lies by alleging that the Nigerian military interfered in the elections that took place in the state.

ABUJA- The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Tuesday chided the Buhari Media Organization, BMO,  over the its claim that President Muhammadu Buhari’s non-interference in the electoral process was the reason his party,  the All Progressives Congress,  APC, lost in some states in the recently concluded governorship elections.

Worried by the continued detention of its members by the 6 Division Nigerian Army and the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS), the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Rivers State chapter has demanded for their immediate release.

THE two leading political parties, the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, and main opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, were at each other’s jugular, yesterday, over the results of the governorship election in Sokoto, Adamawa, Plateau, Sokoto and the South-South states.
