The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Osun Command, says it will continue to partner with the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) to fight crimes and drug abuse.

The charge was given at the opening ceremony of a two-day training on Drug Prevention Treatment and Care (DPTC), organised by NDLEA for spouses of state governors.

“Three suspects: Shuaibu Yahaya Liman, 35; Monday Audu, 33, and Linus Samuel, 42 have been arrested in connection with the seizure.”

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Kaduna State Command, has arrested 92 suspects and seized 217.02kg of illicit substances since the beginning of 2024.

Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (Retd), and the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, have both declared that the synergy between the two law enforcement agencies is a strong warning to drug cartels that they’ll continue to lose their investments in the criminal trade.

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Akwa Ibom Command, said the agency secured 68 convictions and rehabilitated 12 cases in 2023.

NDLEA arrested 58 drug suspects at Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano, on Wednesday, the spokesman of the agency in Kano State, Mr Sadiq Muhammad-Maigatari, stated on Friday.

The Edo Command of National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) says it secured the conviction of 67 drug traffickers in the state in 2023.
