The federal government has said that the current policy of multiple exchange rates for the naira is working well, and as such the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) is unlikely to change it anytime soon.
Naira appreciates to N360.99/$ in I&E window
The Naira, yesterday, appreciated to N360.99 per dollar in the Investors and Exporters (I&E) window. Data from FMDQ showed that the indicative exchange rate for the window dropped to N360.99 per dollar from N361.18 per dollar on Wednesday translating to 51 kobo appreciation of the naira.
Naira appreciates against dollar at I&E window
The Naira, on Thursday, appreciated against the dollar at the import and export (I&E) window in Lagos, exchanging at N360.99 to the dollar from the N361.18 it traded on Wednesday.
