The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB has said that the Computer-Based Test adopted in the forthcoming Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) would save the examination body about N5 billion.

ILORIN—THE Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, University of Ilorin, UNILORIN, branch, yesterday, flayed call by University of Ibadan branch of the union for the resignation of the Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, Professor Ish’aq Oloyede, from office, saying the call lacks credibility.

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB), said on Saturday that it arrested six persons over alleged illegal registration and sale of 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) materials.

SUCCOUR came the way of 79 indigent youths in Yenagoa, constituency II, as the lawmaker representing the area in Bayelsa State House of Assembly, Mrs. Ebiuwou Koku-Obiyai, weekend, presented them with free NECO registration and JAMB forms.
