MANAGEMENT of the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has said that operatives from the Nigeria Police, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, and the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related offences Commission, ICPC, will monitor the examination centres in the forthcoming Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, UMTE.

NIGERIA Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers, NUPENG, yesterday, pleaded with the Federal Government to employ dialogue in resolving the lingering impasse between the management of Capital Oil and the Department of State Service, DSS, over alleged illegal sale of petroleum products stored in Capital Oil tank farm by the Nigerian National Petroleum and Cooperation, NNPC.

PETROLEUM Tankers Drivers, PTD, branch of the Nigeria Union of Petroleum and Natural Gas Workers, NUPENG, yesterday dismissed the allegation credited to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, that one of the reasons Chief Ifeanyi Ubah, the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, CEO, of Capital Oil, was arrested, was for inciting members of PTD to cause economic sabotage.

The Managing Director of Capital Oil and Gas Limited, Ifeanyi Ubah, has been arrested and detained by the Department of State Security over his refusal to remit N11 billion of realised from the sales of petroleum products stored in his facility by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC.

Ifeanyi Ubah, the managing director of Capital Oil and Gas Limited has been arrested by the Department of State Services.
