Leading contestant to the national chairmanship of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Olabode George, has appealed to elders and other stakeholders of the party not to allow the election set the South-South and the South-West zones against each other.

A contestant for the position of national chairmanship of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Bode George, has said the party has gone through a tsunami, but noted that the South-South zone had remained resolute and firm.

ABUJA—THE  campaign of the former   Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Deputy National Chairman and a  leading aspirant for the party national chairmanship position, Chief Olabode George, has received  a boost  as prominent leaders of the party, the Board of Trustee Chairman, Senator  Walid Jubrin, former National Chairman of the party, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, former  Governor of   Enugu State,   Chief Okwesilieze Nwodo and former Deputy National Chairman of the party, Chief Shuaibu Oyedokun, have described George as a committed party member that deserves the office of the   party’s chairman.
