National chairman of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Chief Victor Umeh, has described as laughable the claims by a group that called itself APGA-APC in Enugu, that APGA is part of the merger of political parties that formed the All Progressives Congress, APC.

The newly registered, All Progressives Congress, APC, in Ekiti State, has expressed worry over how the leadership of the Congress for Progressive Change, CPC, in the state had failed to turn up for Monday’s rally to herald the formation of the new party in the state.

Ado-Ekiti, the capital of Ekiti State, stood still for several hours yesterday, as party faithful, interest groups and members of the public welcomed the newly registered mega- party, the All Progressives Congress, APC.

All Progressives Congress, APC, yesterday, said the party was the only platform that could rescue the people of Anambra State from the unfair leadership of the ruling All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA, in the last seven years.

Former Senate President, Ameh Ebute, Monday, described the merger of three political parties into the All Progressives Congress, APC, as unworkable, affirming the continuing hurt of the Yoruba people against the Hausa Fulani on account of the death in detention of Bashorun Moshood Abiola.
