The recent search of Government House, Uyo by operatives of the Department of State Services, DSS has elicited strong comments. While partisans of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP are condemning it, opponents of the ruling party in the state mostly found in the All Progressives Congress, APC are speaking in favour of the alleged invasion.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has described the PDP’s rambling statement on the nation’s economy as part of the opposition’s ploy to distract the Buhari Administration from its onerous task of putting the nation on a sound footing.

Spokesman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, South-East geopolitical zone, Mr. Osita Okechukwu, has dismissed the statement credited to Imo State Governor, Owelle Rochas on the exclusion of Ndigbo in the appointments made by President Muhamamdu Buhari, saying, the governor should accept responsibility for the fate of the South East.

The Special Assistant to the Ekiti State Governor on Public Communications and New Media, Mr. Lere Olayinka has counselled the state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), to tell President Muhammadu Buhari to make his assets public properly as he promised Nigerians, rather than asking Governor Ayodele Fayose to declare his assets publicly.
